I've been given this Trio receiver dating from 1969-70(ish). Alternating Current supply (AC) / 110-120; 220-240 Volt The person
that gifted it said that he couldn't make anything of it and that there
was just a lot of crackling and he was fed up with it and said I may as
well have it as it was no good to him.
It does actually work and SSB sounds good. It does, however, have some issues and there seems to be some strange 'imaging' on AM mode depending on the setting of the RF tuning control. The S meter acts in a strange way, particularly in conjunction with the RF gain control.
