Yaesu FT-50R Amateur VHF/UHF Transceiver
The Yaesu FT-50R is rugged, reasonably priced, simple to operate and has all the features you want. This latest FT-50RD-41 version includes the FTT-12 keypad with digital voice recorder. The FT-50RD comes with: FNB41 NiCad battery, NC-60B charger, SMA flexible antenna and wrist strap. Only 2.2 x 3.9 x 1.2 inches.
The Yaesu FT-10R "single bander" is similar to the FT-50R, but covers only the 2 meter band instead of 2 meters and 440 MHz. Receive frequency coverage is 140 to 174 MHz and transmit from 144 to 148 MHz. RF power output is: 5, 2.8, 1 or 0.1 watts.
The Yaesu FT-40R "single bander" is similar to the FT-50R, but covers only the 440 MHz band instead of 2 meters and 440 MHz. Receive frequency coverage is 420 to 470 MHz and transmit from 430 to 450 MHz. RF power output is: 5, 2.5, 1 or 0.1 watts.
