Kenwood TH-26E is a refined 2 meter HT that follows in the tradition of the successful TH-25AT. This feature-filled handheld package delivers multi-function scanning, LCD display, 20 memories plus call channel, tone alert system and DTSS-DTMF selective calling.
There are three power settings. You get a full 5 watts output with the optional PB-8 or external 13.8 VDC. The low power position delivers 2.5 watts plus there is "ELP" economy low power position that drops power clear down to 20 mW for extended battery life.
Extended receive from 136 to 163 MHz gives you coverage of MARS, CAP and weather channels. The TH-26E can accept 6 to 16 VDC input directly via the optional PG-3F or PG-2W. Other features include: auto-power-off function, auto-battery saving circuit, backlit LCD, repeater offset and reverse switch and tone alert system. The TH-26E comes with PB-10 battery, wall charger, flexible BNC antenna, belt hook and bottom cover.
