Icom IC-2500A is similar to the IC-2400A but operates on the 440 and 1200 MHz band instead of the 144 and 440 MHz bands. Power output may be selected at 35 or 5 watts on 440 MHz, and 10 or 1 watts on 1200 MHz. Operation is from 440-450 and 1240-1300 MHz. Simultaneous dual band watch and full duplex is supported. Tuning steps include: 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 kHz. There are 40 memories plus 2 call channels. An AFC function is featured on the 1200 MHz band. The speaker is built-in.
